Movie Synopsis:
In a secluded valley in Iceland, Gummi and Kiddi live hand and hand, maintaining their sheep. Their ancestral sheep-stock is known as among the country’s greatest and both brothers are repeatedly awarded because of their prized rams who bring a historical lineage. Although they talk about the property and a means of lifestyle, Gummi and Kiddi possess not spoken to one another in four decades. Whenever a lethal disease abruptly infects Kiddi’s sheep, the whole valley comes under danger. The authorities opt to cull all of the animals in the region to support the outbreak. That is a near loss of life sentence for the farmers, whose sheep are their primary source of income, and several abandon their property. But Gummi and Kiddi don’t quit so quickly – and each brother attempts to push away the disaster in his personal fashion: Kiddi through the use of his rifle and Gummi through the use of his wits. As the authorities close in the brothers will have to come collectively to save lots of the special breed of dog passed on for generations, and themselves, from extinction.
